With more than 25 years experience in photography Eric Shropshire diverse photo work includes people, portraits, fashion, photojournalism and lifestyle. Eric’s broad experience brings a unique prospective to his photography projects. “I feel that it is important not to be one-dimensional in either work or life. Having broad experiences means that you can look at projects with more depth and understanding. I use this philosophy when photographing subjects and by being sensitive to their life experiences and trying to capture some of that in my photos.”

About Eric Shropshire

With more than 25 years experience in photography, design, marketing and publishing, Eric Shropshire has worked continuously as a designer, photographer, and art director for a wide range of companies.

Outside of photography, Eric has diverse work experience for a wide range of companies including Quark, Inc. as the product manager for future technologies, R. R. Donnelley & Sons as a senior design technology consultant, and Playboy Enterprises. During his six years at Playboy, Eric was Director of Technology/Associate Art Director for the Publishing Group responsible for designing nonfiction articles for Playboy magazine and for integrating desktop publishing, prepress and multimedia technology for the design and production of Playboy publishing products.

Focusing on photography with Eric Shropshire Photography and graphic/web design with the Creative Quadrant, Inc., Eric uses his broad experience to bring a unique prospective to his photography projects. “I feel that it is important not to be one-dimensional in either work or life. Having broad experiences means that I can look at projects with more depth and understanding. I use this when photographing people by being sensitive to their life experiences and trying to capture some of that in my photos. With products, I focus on having a greater understanding of their use and purpose.”
